The Dance the Spirit Series:
Mixed Media Paintings and Giclees

     Some years ago, I began an ongoing series of paintings called DANCE THE SPIRIT uniquely inspired by an exciting natural Hawaiian material called a'a niu and the extraordinary nature of our human family. A' a niu means the cloth (a'a) of the coconut (niu). It is a strong fibrous fabric with the combined visual qualities of wood, cloth and animal hide.

     The mixed media Dance the Spirit are acrylic glaze paintings in Politec (the world's original acrylic created by the Mexican Mural masters) and natural fibers. They are visual prayers and feng shui cures for your home. Each one is designed and created with specific prayers for the healing and restoration of the Earth and all her inhabitants. They are now available in limited edition Giclee prints. These paintings come through my heart of gratitude and awe for the diversity, grace and beauty of life itself.
